The first mop-up round for dental courses held on the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) premises got a mixed response on Monday.

The mop-up round was held for a total of 1,679 dental seats for the current academic year.

“This is the usual response for dental counselling every year. The government seats are more likely to be filled, while most of the private and management seats are still expected to go vacant. We have scheduled the offline counselling for dental courses on September 6, for which we have given option for new registration for two days,” Gangadaraiah, KEA administrative officer, told DH.
