The accident occurred as the edge of the lorry rubbed against the rear wheel of the car in which Varthur Prakash was travelling. He was heading to Kolar from Bangalore.
The car sustained some damages and no one has sufferred injuries in the accident.
The lorry was coming in the opposite direction - proceeding towards Bangalore.
The legislator, is said to have not registered any complaint against the driver of the truck.
