Bengaluru: Mobile health units will provide primary health services to remote places in the state.
A government order in this regard was issued on Tuesday. The project costs Rs 15.97 crore.
The existing tender for this purpose will be cancelled. District health officers must obtain the vehicles and drivers on contract basis.
Similarly, necessary human resources will be obtained via contract or be outsourced, according to the order.
District health officers are to implement the project with the permission of the National Health Mission director.
Necessary equipment are to be procured from the Karnataka State Medical Supplies Corporation Limited, the order stated.
