Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called Kannada a 'beautiful language' on Twitter.

He was responding to a user's comment saying "It feels happy when Modiji talks in Kannada". The user was referring to Modi's rally in Kalaburgi where he called the Congress-JD(S) coalition government in the state a 'majboor' government. He also called Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy a "remote-controlled CM".

During his speech, he asked the people to give him a clear majority as the nation will have to pay a heavy price if a “Mahamilavat Sarkar” is voted to power.
