Addressing a press meet here on Monday, he said if one weighs the political achievement of these two leaders, the Chief Minister is nothing in front of them.
“Moily and Poojary are known for their dedication, honesty and hard work. Poojary who had served as Finance Minister was successful in taking banks to the doorstep of the common man. Through CET, Moily brought in a revolution in education system. After Yeddyurappa came to power, no programmes have been implemented for helping common man.”
He said barring few concrete roads in Mangalore, no development has taken place in the district. The promise of mono rail, skybus have not been materialised so far. Mangala Corniche project is still at the preliminary stage. Most of the developmental work in Mangalore has been carried out by the Congress, he added.
Stating that handicapped persons are not getting monthly pension for the last four months, he said the government has failed to provide bicycles to the school kids.
