Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda on Sunday took oath as Rajya Sabha MP.

He took his oath in Kannada.

After the former PM, who was elected unopposed earlier, took oath, Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu said Gowda was a good addition to the House.

The JD(S) supremo was defeated in the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
