Mysuru: A social activist, on the basis of whose complaint the Karnataka Lokayukta Police conducted an inquiry into the alleged Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam and the alleged role of the family members of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in it, has lodged a complaint against the IPS officials involved in the probe, with the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), recently.
Snehamayi Krishna said he had complained to the CVC on March 12 itself, but the CVC has communicated to him on Monday that the complaint has been registered and they are studying its content.
“IPS officers Manish Kabrikar, Additional Director General of Police, Subramaneyshwara Rao, Inspector General of Police, and T J Udesh, then Lokayukta Superintendent of Police in Mysuru, have behaved as if they were under a pressure in the case number 11/24, lodged by me at the Lokayukta Police Station in Mysuru. So, the CVC should probe against them, to see if they succumbed to the pressure of Siddaramaiah,” the complaint reads.
