Speaking at a press conference, here, on Saturday, lawyer Ravikumar said, “We have filed a complaint, in this regard, against ex-corporator M C Ramesh, with the City Police Commissioner and the Income Tax department”.

He stated, “A 1.2-acre land, on survey number 126/6, belonging to Honnegowda of Basavanahalli in Mysuru taluk, was acquired by MUDA for development of a residential layout. After his death, his son Amasegowda created records, claiming himself to be Honnegowda."

"Even then, the legal heirs of Honnegowda were legally entitled to a 40X60 site as compensation. But, they were given four sites measuring a total of 12,600 square feet. Two 60X90 sites, one 30X40 site, and one 20X30 sites were distributed. Ramesh usurped these sites, using a GPA from Amasegowda. An investigation should be conducted, and the loss to the government should be recovered," Ravikumar insisted.

He alleged, “Former MUDA commissioners D B Natesh and Dinesh have distributed sites to ineligible persons, according to their whims and fancies, even though the land was not acquired from farmers. Besides, MUDA has been using certain lands even without acquiring them. In Hebbalu, on survey number 272/4, 16 guntas of land was not acquired. But, a road has been laid on it."

Adarsh, Guru, and Nataraj were present in the press meet.
