H S Chandrasekhar, an official of the K R Pet Town Municipal Council, has been dismissed as charges of misuse of funds to the tune of Rs 81.49 lakh against him have been proved to be true.
The report against him reads that he had misused funds while he was serving as the chief officer of Tarikere Town Municipal Council in Chikkamagaluru district from 2005 to 2011.
The dismissal order, issued by Director of Municipal Administration R Vishal, reads that the charges have been proved by a thorough probe.
