
Team of officials of Mysuru district administration clear the encroachment of Government land in Mysuru in Mysuru taluk limits on Friday morning.

Mysuru: Team of district administration officials led by Tahsildar Mahesh, cleared the encroachment of 0.38 acre Government land on survey no 87 in Mysuru in Mysuru taluk limits on Friday morning.
As per the order of Mysuru Deputy Commissioner- LND(1)CR: 280/2009-10, dated October 20, 2010, the said land was given to backward classes and minorities welfare department for the construction of post metric boys/girls hostel. But it was allegedly used illegally for scooter parking by private people.
Based on request by district level officer of department of backward classes and minorities, and directions of senior officials, the team cleared the encroachment.
Assistant director of department of survey and land records, Chikkanna, district officer of backward classes welfare department Raghavendra, police inspector Yoganjappa and other police department personnel including Ravishankar, Rohith were present.
