Radhakrishnan said, “Completion of education is just a beginning. Have clarity towards your goal like Arjuna aimed at the bird’s eye. Talent is a gift of God, but being consistent is in our own control. Move at your own convenient speed, without comparing with others as all are unique. Take breaks but never quit and reach top with more vigor. Never get dejected by defeats, as you may achieve unthinkable things. Out of my five elections, I won only two. I have now become the VP of India, as I never stopped working and continued to move. Small achievements accomplished will go on to become bigger like how River Ganga begins as a stream and reaches the Bay of Bengal to accommodate big ships.”
“Following time-table should not be restricted to elementary education, but for the entire life to make the best of one’s capabilities and time. Nothing can be compared to experience. Respect and listen to your parents, teachers. Like the PM, listen to all and accept the good. Do your best without diversion. Never be worried about failure. Sorrows are part of life and they make us stronger. Take life in a balanced way. Focus on how to improve every day and evolve as virtuous humans,” he said.
Radhakrishnan highlighted the role of NEP in empowering students through flexibility and interdisciplinary learning, he said, “Education shapes our future. National Education Policy 2020 gives us an opportunity to acquire multiple degrees and skills at the same time. Education is strength. Never compromise with happiness as it helps us do better in life,” he said.
He even stressed on utilising positive aspects of social media diligently for students’ growth.
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot said, “With the vision to alleviate poverty and inequality, the JSS Mutt has been offering Anna Dasoha, Akshara Dasoha, Arogya Dasoha - imparting education with food and hostel facilities and hospital mainly for the underprivileged. With advanced educational skills, students can face challenges in the current AI and digital world. Education helps one for the evolution of a person with human values, towards building Atma Nirbhar and Viksit Bharat.”
