Mysuru: Panic prevailed at Mysuru railway station after police received a call aon Sunday, alerting them that bomb has been planted at the station.
All the passengers were evacuated from the premises and trains within 15 minutes.
State and Railway police force along with anti-sabotage team and the dog squad thoroughly checked all trains, yards including the waiting hall and other places within one hour.
But, no suspicious substances were found.
All the trains operated normally later in the day.
PRO, South Western Railways, Mysuru division, Girish D Kalagond said that the call was received at Mysuru district SP office from an unknown person.
According to sources, the caller spoke in Telugu and claimed that he had planted the bomb at the behest of some people in power.
