Mysuru-Renigunta train to ply from June 1

The much-awaited Mysuru-Renigunta Weekly Express train will start to chug on June 1 while two trains connecting the city with Hubballi will also be regularised in the first week of June.

The Mysuru-Renigunta Weekly (11065) will depart Mysuru at 10.55 pm every Friday and reach Renigunta at 8.25 am next day. The train will run via Bengaluru, Jolarpettai and Katpadi.

In the return direction, the train (11066) will depart Renigunta at 5.50 pm every Saturday (from June 2) and reach Mysuru at 3.15 am on respective Sunday.

The new train is expected to benefit thousands of people who travel to Tirupati and Kalahasti besides other passengers en route. The train will complement Howrah Superfast Express as far as connecting Renigunta is concerned.

Train regularisation

The Yeshwantpur-Hubballi Weekly Express, which was run as a special train, will be regularised from Yeshwantpur on June 1 and from Hubballi on June 2. The train will travel via Tumakuru, Arasikere, Davangere, Harihar and Haveri.

Similarly, the Yeshwantpur-Pandharpur Weekly Express will be regularised from Yeshwantpur on July 5 and from Pandharpur on July 6. From Yeshwantpur, the train will travel via Tumakuru, Arsikere, Harihar, Haveri, Hubballi, Belagavi, Miraj and Sangola.
