Aparanji was former Principal of Gogte College of Commerce, Belgaum and also served as Principal of H R Sriramulu Memorial College, Gangavathi. Aparanji did his PhD in Economics and also studied advanced Demography at Princeton University, USA. He also worked as assistant editor with ‘Samyukta Karnataka’ in late 1940s.
