The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has decided to round off the price of the half-litre Nandini milk packet to Rs 14, up from the existing Rs 13.50.
This follows several complaints from consumers that milk dealers were not tendering the due change of 50 paise, after selling the half-litre packets of toned Nandini milk.
To compensate for the hike, KMF has decided to add 20 ml milk more to the half-litre packet, making it 520 ml.
The price of one litre of milk, which is Rs 27, will remain the same. This change will be effective from June 1.
