Based on the high demand, the KMF will take a decision on making the batter available in all districts of the state after Sankranti festival.

The KMF said that they plan to up the production and make the batter available in every Nandini stall and parlour in the city. In the same vein, they also plan on increasing the number of vehicles supplying the batter from 5 to 18.

Currently, the batter is available in Nandini parlours around Jayanagar, Padmanabhanagar, Malleswaram and Seshadripuram.

Last week, KMF Chairman Bheema Naik had said that KMF had set a target of supplying 5 tonnes of the batter daily and will expand to the rest of the state keeping in mind the demand of the customers.

On December 25, 2024, Nandini launched its own ready-to-cook idli and dosa batter blended with 5% whey protein.

The batter is available in two different packs - 450g will cost Rs 40 and 900g Rs 80.
