The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC)has resolved to nominate popular Tulu actor Naveen D Padil as 'Sanitation Ambassador' for the activities under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Mangaluru city.
Padil will assist the Corporation in creating awareness on sanitation ahead of Swachh Sarvekshana survey, which is due in January 2018. A Union government team is expected to visit the city for survey in the month of January.
