M T Krishna Babu has assumed charge as Chairman of New Mangalore Port Trust.
Krishna Babu, IAS is currently the Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port and has been instrumental in guiding the port on the path of excellence in cargo handling, as well as developing it as a green port.
A qualified engineer, Krishna Babu commenced his career in NTPC. He has held various positions in local, provincial and Central government as an IAS officer.
He has wide experience in the infrastructure sector and has also held additional charge as Chairman of the Paradip Port Trust, Kolkata Port Trust and Haldia Dock Complex.
