In the memorandum they have said that the president is neglecting development works, taking unilateral decisions and has completely failed in attending to the problems of the people.

In the light of this and to protect the interest of the public the no confidence decision has been taken, it said in the memorandum to the deputy commissioner.
In the no confidence submitted there are members from the Congress, BJP, JD(S) and independents.

The general body meeting of the CMC had been called only once in October 2009. Later, the development works have been completely ignored. IDSMT work has not been implemented, sites have not been distributed to the deserving, CRF fund has been sanctioned without the permission of the members and he had also failed to distribute 18 to 22 per cent of the grant to the beneficiaries, the memorandum read.

The president has also neglected to protect the properties of the CMC, the cases of which are in courts, the illegally occupied land belonging to the CMC has not been recovered, no action has been taken against the illegal buildings and also Rs 15 lakh meant for Shahari Rojgar scheme has gone back to the government are some of the other charges made by the members.
