The disrupted IndiGo flight schedule played spoilsport with a reception ceremony that a couple had planned in Hubballi. Consequently, cancellation of their Hubballi-bound flight impelled them to participate in the event virtually.

Newlyweds Medha Ksheerasagar and Sangam Das, who tied the knot in Bhubaneswar on November 23, were scheduled to have a reception ceremony at the Gujarat Bhavan in Deshpande Nagar in Hubballi on December 3.

Medha’s sister Anjana Ksheerasagar said that since the family had invited relatives and friends to the ceremony in Hubballi, they decided to go ahead with the event. “Medha and Sangam participated in the event, albeit virtually. Our parents took their position on the stage, while the newlyweds received the guests’ blessings online,” Anjana said.
