On the ongoing controversy of a Manipal University teacher calling a student "Kasaab", Karnataka Education Minister B C Nagesh said that the teacher shouldn't have said that, and even if he did, there should be no politics on this.
"How many times during a conversation we use words like Ravana and Shakuni for someone, does this matter? Does this become an issue? But why did it become an issue as soon as Kasaab's name came up? Why is it being made so big? Names like Ravana and Shakuni are used many times in the Vidhan Sabha also.”
