Honnavar (Uttara Kannada district): Fisheries and Ports Minister Mankal S Vaidya has clarified that there is no proposal before the government for a project to supply water from the Sharavathi river to Bengaluru. He was speaking at a taluk-level KDP meeting here. The minister said that some people are organising protests and spreading misinformation.
