Gundlupet (Chamarajanagar dist): Close on the heels of the death of five tigers at Malai Mahadeshwara Wildlife Sanctuary limits, a tigress was found dead at Gundre forest range under Bandipur Tiger Reserve limits in Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagar district, on Friday.

The tigress is said to be around four to five years old. The Forest department personnel on patrol found the carcass on Friday. According to forest officials, it looks like the tiger has died of natural causes.
