India will be the 70th chapter of Old Crows. The association founded in 1964 began as a reunion of World War II Electronic Counter Measure officers who used electronic warfare to disrupt Axis communications and radars. Speaking on the occasion, Donald N Richetti, executive director, AOC, USA, said the association draws expertise and information from thousands of individuals, including technology specialists and actual military personnel. Today there are 14,000 Old Crows.
The Indian chapter on day one witnessed 19 registrations. Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE) Director U K Revankar said Indian chapter will help in sharing ideas and seeking solutions for electronic warfare related problems.
