Hangal, Haveri district: A 42-year-old man died and two others, including a seer, sustained injuries when the bucket of a crane snapped up while fixing the Kalasa of the Gangaparameshwari Temple at Sheshagiri village in the taluk on Friday morning.
Manjunath Patil of the village suffered grievous injuries in the incident and died at Hangal government hospital. Jyothirlingananda Swami of Thippayyaswami Ashram of Kusunur village and Manju Badiger, a local, are undergoing treatment in the Hangal hospital.
