Mangalore Surf Club will organise a free open surf competition at Tannirbhavi Beach from 6.30 am to 11 am on March 7.
The objective of this event is to promote surfing and to make people aware that Tannirbavi Beach has a world-class surf break.
The competition will be conducted in four categories - below 12, below 16, below 20 and above 20 years. There will be a first and second prize in each category.
In addition, participation certificates will be issued to all participants. As a part of the surfing competition, there will be a yoga demonstration by Sharath Ameen and team and a CPR demo by Abhisaran. There will be an art gallery at the venue as well.
