The Water Resources Department said that starting from 3 pm on Saturday, the outflow will be gradually increased from 84,445 cusecs to 1.10 lakh cusecs.

People living in the downstream areas of the Narayanpur dam have been told to stay cautious. They have been advised not to take livestock near the river and not to enter the river water.
