The Karnataka Backward Classes Commission will submit its report and recommendation based on the data collected from the socio-educational survey (caste census) to the State government in two months.
Commission chairman H Kantharaj said around five per cent of the 1.26 crore households, which could not be covered due to various reasons during the survey in April-May this year, will be enumerated soon.
“We have started the compilation process and would be submitting our report to the government in two months,” Kantharaj said.
Earlier, Kantharaj submitted a report prepared by the panel on the programmes of the government pertaining to the welfare of the backward classes to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
