New Delhi: In an apparent snub to Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara about his remarks on five guarantee schemes in the state, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday said it was Parameshwara headed committee which prepared the Congress manifesto ahead of the 2023 assembly polls.
"The Committee headed by Parameshwara prepared the manifesto. He must know the details of the guarantee. I don't know in what context he said the guarantee is a financial burden," Shivakumar said.
The Deputy Chief Minister was reacting to the Home Minister's statement that 'guarantees were financially a burden on the state government'.
