A KSRTC bus service from Chikkaballapur to Devanahalli has been provided for the benefit of the citizens.
The bus timings have been fixed and there is a service every half-an-hour. The bus service is a boon to the people who live in placed located between Chikkaballapur and Devanahalli such as Kothnur, Chadulapura, DC’s office, Nandi Cross, Beedaganahalli, Mudugurki, Venkatagiri Kote, Bullahalli and Avathi villages.
However the destination sinages on the buses cause confusion among the passengers.
Variations
In the front, the nameboard may indicate, “Chikkaballapur-Devanahalli” and “Chikkaballapur-Gauribidanur” at the entrance to the bus.
Sinages indicating desinations are also stuck on the window glasses. It often leads to confusion among the passengers especially when they are in a hurry. Many passengers feel that this anomaly should be set right.
