Relief came pouring in from all quarters for flood-hit North Karnataka even as political parties cutting across party lines are gearing up to do their bit to help ease the impact of the humanitarian disaster. Pejawar mutt seer Visveshatheertha swamji and his disciples will be heading to Mantralaya, Raichur and Bagalkot with relief material and camping at these places for the next four days.

Around 100 members of the Bangalore Youth Congress will head to Bagalkot to help in relief works. BJP MP and Convener of ABIDe Rajeev Chandrasekhar is contributing Rs 25 lakh to the CM’s Relief Fund.
