According to a press release, S Tippeswamy, pioneer of photography in South India will be the chief guest for the event. He has the distinct credit of having introduced photojournalism in academics in South India. He is the highest fellowship holder from foreign photography societies in India. He will conduct a workshop on the ‘Basics of photography and photo journalism.’
This will be followed by a workshop on ‘Tips and tricks of photography and role of photographer in photography’ by Gagan Prakash.
Manipal Institute of Communication Honorary Director Dr M V Kamath will be guest of honor. MIC Director Prof Varadesh Hiregange will be present. The proceeds of the event will go to Spoorthi Korga Shikshana Kshetra, Keduee near Kundapur, the release added.
