The High Court on Wednesday disposed of the petition seeking directions to the police to produce missing Congress MLA Mahesh Kumatalli before the court.
The court disposed of the petition after dropping the fine imposed on the petitioner.
It also asked the petitioner to be cautious and ensure if the person is really missing or detained, before approaching the court.
The court was hearing a habeas corpus petition filed by Pramod Dayanand Hiremani, an advocate.
