PM's wife attends sister's 'Uthala' rite

Daman Singh Kaur, daughter of Dr Manmohan Singh accompanied her mother. After eating at the ‘langar’ at the Gurudwara, they returned to the VVIP room at the Circuit House, where they stayed.

Tight security arrangements were made in and around the Gurudwara and the Circuit House where the Prime Minister’s family stayed. About 15 Special Protection Guard (SPG) men are looking after the security of Gurusharan Kaur, and Daman Singh Kaur.
The VVIPs will leave for Mumbai on Saturday morning by a Kingfisher flight, on their way to New Delhi. On Thursday night, Ms Gursharan Kaur and her daughter spent about two hours at the residence of Kohlis, and had dinner there.

The wife and daughter of Dr Singh came to Hubli on Thursday by a Kingfisher flight, which has only economy class. On Saturday also, they will leave by a similar flight.
