Bengaluru: Senior BJP leader C T Ravi on Friday said that some people are trying to ‘plant’ stories in the media against him about the recent case where he was accused of passing derogatory remarks against Minister for Woman and Child Development Laxmi Hebbalkar.

After attending a meeting called by the government to discuss the Datta Peetha issue, Ravi told reporters that the police had approached the court without giving him the notice.

“I have also filed a complaint. But no notice was issued based on my complaint. Anyway, I will wait for the court’s judgement. I will obey and respect the directions of the judiciary,” Ravi said.
