STJ College had converted into a political centre. BJP senior leaders were seen visiting the counting centres and were seen supporting their party workers and congradulating the winners. However, Congress leaders were not seen near the centre.

In Halasubalu of Mallenahalli, Ramesh and T P Chandregowda had won 225 votes. Hence, lottery was picked. In the meantime, Ramesh alleged that he had fected 225 votes and Chandregowda could fetch only 224. Later in the guidance of Additional DC, the officials counted postal vote, which had 2 votes in favour of Chandregowda. Similarly, in Devadana Gram Panchayat, Krishnaveni and Jayanthi fetched 162 votes. Hence toss was taken and the luck was in favour of Krishnaveni. In Bidire Gram Panchayat, Suresh and Vajid had won 142 votes each. In the toss, Suresh won. The results of Balehalli constituency in Kelagooru GP was withheld as no candidates turned out. Sumitra and Kavitha from the constituency had won 233 votes each. However, candidates remained absent for carrying out toss.
