The building has been constructed under Sarva Shikshana Abhiyana for Nali Kali programme for primary school students. The residents of the village have been urging the authorities concerned in Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (Cesc) the problem of loosely hanging cables for the past few years, but to no avail.
Residents fear power may flow into the building when it rains. So classes under Nali Kali programme is being held in other buildings in the school premises.
There is also a risk of an eventuality while the children play in the ground. The members of the School Development and Monitoring Committee urge Cesc authorities to change the path of the line in the interest of students.
