A special puja and a mass prayer was offered at Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple, for the safety of the seven missing fishermen on board the Suvarna Tribhuja.
Former Union minister B Janardhana Poojary said that the people had been eking out a living by fishing. He hoped that the missing fishermen will join their families soon.
Temple committee president Sairam and others were present.
