President Ram Nath Kovind offered special puja at Talacauvery on Saturday, the point of origination of Cauvery river.
He arrived at Bhagamandala in a special helicopter. The President was accompanied by his wife Savitha Kovind. District- in-charge Minister V Somanna welcomed the President at the helipad.
The special puja was performed by chief priests Rajesh Acharya, Sudhir Acharya, and assistant priests Akhilesh, Prasad and Srinivas. The President will inaugurate the General Thimmayya museum in Madikeri at 3 pm.
