However, on Friday morning Yeddyurappa said the judicial commission would probe into land deals from 1994, when H D Deve Gowda headed the Janata Dal government.
Now, the scope of the inquiry include regimes of Gowda, J H Patel, S M Krishna, Dharam Singh, H D Kumaraswamy and Yeddyurappa. The government is on the look out for a retired supreme court judge to head the commission.
