Koppal: The three-day annual fair of Sri Gavisiddeshwar Mutt will begin on January 15 with the inauguration of the Maharathotsava at 5.30 pm by renowned Hindustani vocalist Pt M Venkatesh Kumar.
Siddaganga Mutt seer Siddalinga Swami, Abhinava Siddharoodha Swami of Vijayapura and Kannada filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekar will take part in the inaugural day programme, according to Gavi Mutt seer Abhinava Gavisiddeshwar Swami.
Environmental activist from Assam Jadav Payeng, also known as the “Forest Man of India”, will be the chief guest for the religious/spiritual programme scheduled for January 16 while Karnataka High Court judge Justice Vedavyasachar Srishananda will take part on the concluding day event on January 17.
