Muniyappa told reporters here on Wednesday that the Congress high command will take a decision when the issue of the change of chief minister arises, but as of now, there is no such situation. Siddaramaiah has been providing good governance, guarantees, and other good programmes have been implemented by the government. The chief minister will also give a good budget soon, hence the question of him being replaced does not arise.

He expressed ignorance about some of the ministers and MLAs going to New Delhi to meet the high command and demanding the replacement of the chief minister.

He said the government will install separate weighbridges through APMC at all sugar factories in the state to prevent cheating of farmers through weighing. The Chief Minister has released funds for it and the work will commence soon. There were provisions for penalty and punishment for cheating and Legal Metrology Department will take action regarding it.
