The question paper of Income Tax subject in BCom fifth semester of the Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University here was found leaked through WhatsApp on Thursday night, the eve of the exam.
On Friday, Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists made a complaint to the Gandhinagar police station. The leak was confirmed when the WhatsApp question paper perfectly matched with the distributed paper in the examination hall.
The Cyber Crime Cell has been requested to conduct a thorough investigation, said Dr L R Naik, University Registrar (Evaluation). The examination has been postponed and the new dates will be announced soon.
