The IX-383 Calicut-Mangalore-Dubai aircraft was scheduled to arrive in Mangalore at 9 am. But due to bad weather in Mangalore airport, the aircraft did not take off from Calicut airport. The aircraft arrived at 11.35 am and left for Dubai at 12.45 pm.
The same aircraft returns to Mangalore from Dubai at 6.15 pm. As the aircraft was delayed by over 3 hours on its onward journey, it is expected to be delayed by a minimum of 3 hours.
Similarly, IC 179 Mumbai - Mangalore which was scheduled to arrive at Mangalore at 12.50 pm was diverted to Calicut. The aircraft arrived in Mangalore from Calicut at 4 pm and left for Mumbai.
Similarly, the Jet Airways Mumbai-Mangalore flight which was supposed to arrive at 10.35 am was diverted to Bangalore and it arrived at 2.45 pm and left for Mumbai at 3.15 pm. Another Jet Airways aircraft on Mumbai-Mangalore route too was delayed by 55 minutes. Kingfisher aircraft on Mumbai-Mangalore route too was delayed by some time due to bad weather.
