Moderate to heavy rain lashed parts of Shivamogga on Friday.
Hosanagar, Shivamogga, Bhadravathi, Thirthahalli received heavy but intermittent rain throughout the day. Shivamogga city received heavy rain for about 10 minutes in the afternoon and also towards the evening.
Kalaburagi and surrounding areas also received intermittent rain on Friday afternoon for about 10 to 15 minutes. In the evening, rain accompanied by winds lashed the city and surrounding areas for 30 minutes. Some of the low-lying areas were flooded following rain.
