Moderate rain lashed several parts of the district on Thursday. Thirthahalli, Shivamogga, Hosanagar and Sagar received moderate rain in the morning.
However, the intensity was less when compared to the previous day. Water level in Linganamakki dam rose to 1,793.35 feet against the maximum level of 1,819 feet as catchment area of the dam received rainfall of 14.6mm. The inflow of water was 5,007 cusecs.
