Udupi received a minimum of 9.20 mm, Kundapur 10.80 mm and Karkala received highest of 62.40 mm rainfall in the district.
The district suffered an estimated loss of Rs 2.67 lakh in the last 24 hrs. a total number of 17 houses were damaged in the district.
As many as 1.80 acres of crop has been damaged in Karkala Taluk and 5 houses were partially damaged. In Udupi taluk, as many as 7 houses were partially damaged and two were fully damaged. In Kundapur, 3 houses were partially damaged.

Rains have receded in Dakshina Kannada. However, Mangalore received rains in the evening on Monday. The rains reported in the last 24 hours are as follows: Mangalore 4.2 mm, Bantwal 15.8 mm, Puttur 13.6 mm, Sullia 8.2 mm, Belthangady 40.4 mm, Moodabidri 20.4 mm. The water-level at Thumbay vented dam is 15.8 feet.
