'Rangayathre' to collect fund for flood victims in North KarnatakaStreet play Male Nintha Mele will be staged by Apoorva Kalavidaru

Speaking after inaugurating the street play ‘Male Nintha Mele’ of Apoorva Kalavidaru troupe at the New Bus Stand premises in Kasaragod on Tuesday, Srinivas said that the formation of states based on language has helped the promotion of language-culture.

Former Town Municipality chairman S J Prasad presided. BJP district presidet K Jagadish, Kasaragod Government College Kannada Department head Prof C H Rama Bhat, Kannada Sahitya Parishat Kerala Gadinada Ghataka president S V Bhat, Karnataka Samiti president Muralidhara Ballakkuraya, honourary president B V Kakkillaya, writer Mohammed Baddoor and street play director Umesh Salian were present.

The ‘Rangayatre’ has been organised to collect fund for the flood victims of North Karnataka. Sneharanga Students Forum of Kasaragod Government College inaugurated the fund raising programme by handing over their contribution towards flood relief.
