Anand, one of the three accused in the sexual assault on a medical student, was discharged from the hospital on Sunday and the police arrested him ‘technically.’
Police were unable to arrest Anand on June 27 as he attempted suicide and was admitted to hospital. Anand will be produced in the court on Monday. Another accused Hariprasad is in police custody and Yogesh is recovering in the hospital.
