According to a press release, to obtain ration card, the head of the family or his wife (in case photograph is taken) must visit the respective Nemmadi Kendra between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm and obtain permanent card after stamping thumb impression and returning the temporary coupon and paying Rs 15. After the distribution of permanent ration card, the temporary coupons will be suspended. Ration will not be distributed for those who do not possess permanent ration card.
